Havells India Limited has appointed Varun Berry as an Additional Director (Independent), effective April 22, 2026.
Varun Berry brings over four decades of leadership experience across FMCG and consumer businesses. He was associated with Britannia Industries Limited from January 8, 2013, and retired in November 2025 after serving as Vice Chairman, Managing Director and CEO.
During his career, Berry has worked with leading global companies such as Hindustan Unilever Limited and PepsiCo, handling roles across India and international markets. His experience spans business growth, turnarounds, joint ventures, and scaling new businesses.
He has also completed a Strategic Management course from Wharton School and attended the Global Leadership Program at IMD Business School.
Havells confirmed that Varun Berry is not related to any director of the company, in line with governance requirements for independent directors.
