GM Breweries reported a mixed performance for Q4, with net profit declining 11% year-on-year even as revenue and operating performance showed strong growth.

The company posted a net profit of ₹54 crore for the quarter, compared to ₹61 crore in the same period last year. However, revenue from operations rose 19.5% to ₹202.2 crore, up from ₹169.2 crore on a year-on-year basis.

Operating performance remained robust during the quarter, with EBITDA surging 83% to ₹53 crore from ₹29 crore in the corresponding period last year. This led to a sharp expansion in margins, which stood at 26% compared to 17% a year ago.

The improvement in margins reflects strong operating leverage and better cost efficiencies, even as profitability at the net level saw a decline on a year-on-year basis.
