Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.) reported total auto sales of 97,177 vehicles in February 2026, marking an 18% year-on-year (YoY) growth, including exports.
In the Utility Vehicles (UV) segment, the company sold 60,018 units in the domestic market during February 2026, reflecting a 19% increase compared to 50,420 units in February 2025. Including exports, total UV sales stood at 60,685 units for the month.
Domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles reached 24,585 units in February 2026, registering a 10% YoY growth.
Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., stated that February saw SUV sales of 60,018 units, a 19% increase, while total vehicle sales stood at 97,177 units, up 18% YoY.
Passenger Vehicles Sales (Domestic) – February 2026
Domestic passenger vehicle sales, comprising Utility Vehicles, stood at 60,018 units in February 2026 compared to 50,420 units in February 2025, reflecting a 19% growth.
On a year-to-date (YTD) basis up to February FY26, passenger vehicle sales reached 600,004 units, compared to 503,439 units in the corresponding period of FY25, also marking a 19% increase.
Sales in the Cars and Vans category remained at zero for both February 2026 and February 2025.
Commercial Vehicles and 3-Wheelers (Domestic) – February 2026
In the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segment below 2 tonnes, domestic sales stood at 3,169 units in February 2026, compared to 3,290 units in February 2025, reflecting a decline of 4%. On a YTD basis, sales were 34,594 units, down 2% from 35,465 units in the same period last year.
LCV sales in the 2 to 3.5 tonnes category increased to 21,416 units in February 2026 from 19,155 units a year earlier, registering a 12% growth. YTD sales in this category rose 16% to 230,075 units from 198,102 units in the previous year.
Three-wheeler sales, including electric 3-wheelers, stood at 9,190 units in February 2026, up 44% from 6,395 units in February 2025. YTD sales increased 30% to 101,202 units compared to 78,080 units in the corresponding period of FY25.
Exports – February 2026
Total exports for February 2026 were reported at 3,384 units, compared to 3,059 units in February 2025, reflecting an 11% growth.
On a YTD basis, exports stood at 37,022 units, up 21% from 30,511 units in the same period last year.
