United Spirits Limited has informed the stock exchanges about a change in its senior management personnel under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 .
In its communication dated February 19, 2026, the company said that Ms. Shobhana Nikam, General Counsel of the company and a Senior Management Personnel (SMP), is currently indisposed due to personal exigencies.
To ensure continuity in legal leadership, the Board of Directors, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, has approved the engagement of Ms. Archana Sasan as Interim General Counsel in a consulting capacity for a period of up to six months. Her appointment will be effective from February 23, 2026.
As per the disclosure, Ms. Archana Sasan is a seasoned legal professional who has held leadership roles at Dell International Services India Private Limited, Bharti Airtel Limited, GE Money Financial Services Limited, and Kochhar & Co. Advocates & Legal Consultants. She brings extensive experience in complex legal and regulatory matters, ethics and compliance, and strategic advisory to leadership teams.
The company clarified that this appointment is not related to any directorship change.
