Hyundai Motor India recorded its highest-ever monthly domestic sales of 59,107 units in January 2026, marking a 9.5% year-on-year growth, according to a press release issued by the company on February 1, 2026 .
The company also achieved its highest-ever total monthly sales of 73,137 units, up 11.5% year-on-year, supported by strong demand in the domestic market and robust export performance. Exports stood at 14,030 units in January 2026, registering a sharp 20.9% YoY growth .
Hyundai said key models played a significant role in the milestone. The VENUE recorded its highest-ever monthly sales of 12,413 units, while the AURA also achieved a record with 7,978 units sold during the month .
Commenting on the performance, the company’s management stated that January 2026 marked a defining phase for Hyundai Motor India, reflecting strong customer demand, expanding global footprint, and consistent execution across sales and exports.
The January numbers underline Hyundai Motor India’s strong momentum at the start of 2026, driven by sustained domestic demand and accelerating export growth.
