Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has received a fresh work order from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for the supply of 1,952 stand-alone off-grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems across Madhya Pradesh. The order has been awarded under Component-B of the PM-KUSUM scheme and covers the entire state, further strengthening the company’s presence in government-led renewable energy initiatives.
As per the disclosure, the contract involves the complete scope of work, including design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar water pumping systems. The execution timeline for the project is set at 120 days from the date of award, indicating a relatively short delivery cycle for the company.
The total value of the work order stands at ₹61.82 crore, while the overall consideration including GST amounts to ₹67.32 crore. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity, and the company has clarified that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding authority. It has also confirmed that the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.
