PNB Housing Finance Limited has reinforced its commitment to affordable housing and financial inclusion in Maharashtra by supporting beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban (PMAY-U) 2.0, sanctioning approximately ₹1,530 crore to more than 10,000 eligible beneficiaries in the state.

The housing finance company said it continues to focus on enabling first-time homebuyers to access home loans seamlessly while aligning with the government’s broader ‘Housing for All’ vision. Maharashtra has emerged as a key growth market for the company, supported by a network of 47 branches, including 25 dedicated Roshni branches catering to affordable housing customers.

PNB Housing Finance’s Roshni Home Loans are designed for low- and middle-income households, particularly in semi-urban and emerging regions. The company also offers customised lending solutions for informal and self-employed customers, expanding access to housing finance beyond traditional income documentation.

Commenting on the company’s direction, Jatul Anand, Executive Director, PNB Housing Finance, said:
“We deeply appreciate the Government’s visionary initiatives like PMAY-U 2.0, which have transformed the housing landscape and brought people closer to their dream of home ownership. Maharashtra has emerged as one of our most promising growth centres, and we are proud to support the mission of simplifying access to home loans for consumers here. We remain committed to driving financial inclusion by creating awareness among citizens about the PMAY-U 2.0 scheme and enabling interest subsidy benefits, thus contributing to the larger goal of nation building and Viksit Bharat.”
