IndiGo has confirmed that its operations continue to stabilise, with the airline operating more than 2,000 flights for the second day in a row, according to a press statement released on Friday, December 13.
The carrier said it continues to run its revised network — scaled down after a government directive — without major disruptions, ensuring connectivity across all 138 operational destinations. The airline also highlighted that its on-time performance has remained “consistently normal” over the past five days.
As per the operational data submitted by IndiGo, cancellations have remained minimal:
| Date | Flights Operated | Same-day Cancellations |
|---|---|---|
| 8 Dec | >1700 | 1 |
| 9 Dec | >1800 | 0 |
| 10 Dec | >1900 | 2 |
| 11 Dec | >1950 | 4 |
| 12 Dec | >2050 | 2 |
| 13 Dec | >2050 | Expected |
The airline issued a strong clarification dismissing rumours of mass cancellations circulating on social media. “We strongly urge passengers not to be misled by any false information,” IndiGo said, adding that it has instructed airport partners to publish updated schedules on terminal screens to avoid confusion.
With over 3.25 lakh customers flying daily, IndiGo said it remains committed to upholding the revised flight schedule and maintaining operational integrity across its network.
