Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd has announced that it has bagged a major work order worth around ₹71.25 crore from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. The project covers the supply and installation of 2,033 stand-alone off-grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems across Madhya Pradesh under the PM-KUSUM Component-B scheme.
The company shared that the order includes the complete design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of these solar pumping systems. All project work is scheduled to be completed within 120 days, indicating an aggressive execution timeline aimed at supporting the state’s renewable energy and irrigation goals.
Shakti Pumps also confirmed that the order has been awarded by a domestic government entity, with no related-party involvement from its promoter group. The addition of this project further strengthens the company’s position as a key player in India’s solar pumping and clean energy ecosystem.
