Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), one of India’s most prominent automotive manufacturers, has posted a strong performance for November 2025 with total auto sales touching 92,670 units, marking a 19% year-on-year rise including exports. The company’s SUV lineup continued to drive overall momentum, supported by steady demand in the commercial vehicle and three-wheeler categories.

In the utility vehicles segment, Mahindra sold 56,336 units in the domestic market, registering a 22% increase compared with the same month last year. When exports are added, the total UV sales for the month stood at 57,598 units. The company’s commercial vehicles business recorded domestic sales of 24,843 units, reflecting a 17% growth over last year.

Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO of M&M’s Automotive Division, noted that the SUV category remained a key growth pillar. He highlighted that Mahindra achieved domestic SUV sales of 56,336 units in November, translating into a 22% jump. He also pointed out that the company celebrated one year of its Electric Origin SUV range and introduced two new additions: India’s first Electric Origin 7-seater SUV, the XEV 9S, and the Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition, positioned as the world’s first Formula E-themed special edition SUV.

A look at the segment-wise data shows continued gains across most categories. Domestic passenger vehicle sales, consisting primarily of utility vehicles, rose 22% year-on-year to 56,336 units. On a year-to-date basis, the category has reached 4,25,530 units, up 18% from the previous financial year.

In the commercial vehicle and three-wheeler space, performance remained stable. Light commercial vehicles under 2 tonnes sold 3,255 units in November, reflecting a modest 5% rise. The 2–3.5 tonne LCV segment delivered 21,588 units, a 20% improvement over last year. Three-wheelers, including electric variants, contributed 8,568 units, showing 7% growth.

Mahindra’s global footprint also expanded steadily. The company exported 2,923 vehicles during the month, marking a 5% year-on-year increase. Year-to-date exports have climbed to 27,241 units, up 30% from the same period last year.
