L&T Technology Services (BSE: 540115, NSE: LTTS), a global leader in engineering, AI and digital R&D services, has announced the development of an advanced AI-powered digital twin platform designed to enhance precision in respiratory diagnostics and support clinicians in complex lung navigation procedures. The platform will be formally unveiled at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2025 meeting.
The new solution brings together LTTS’ capabilities in medical imaging, platform engineering, AI-driven diagnostics and connected health systems with NVIDIA’s high-performance AI computing infrastructure. This collaboration enables a scalable, low-latency environment that aims to deliver higher diagnostic accuracy and wider accessibility for healthcare providers.
At the core of the platform is its ability to integrate directly with CT imaging and generate a highly detailed 3D digital twin of the patient’s lung anatomy. Using deep learning models, the system reconstructs airways, blood vessels, lobes and lesions with clinical precision. NVIDIA MONAI supports advanced medical image segmentation, while NVIDIA TensorRT ensures optimized inference performance for real-time medical workflows.
The resulting digital twin offers an interactive anatomical visualization that assists clinicians in planning and navigating bronchoscopy procedures. By enabling precise path mapping through complex airway structures, the platform is designed to improve procedural efficiency and support improved clinical outcomes, particularly in cases involving lung cancer, COPD and infectious diseases.
A key differentiator of LTTS’ offering lies in its ability to transform static imaging data into dynamic, evolving anatomical models that mirror changes in a patient’s condition. Built on the company’s proprietary navigation technologies and deep medical engineering expertise, the system aims to provide simulations that are not only informative but also clinically meaningful, helping physicians plan treatments with greater confidence.
