Symphony Ltd, a leading manufacturer of air-cooling solutions, reported a sharp decline in its financial performance for the second quarter of FY2025, impacted by sluggish demand and lower sales volumes.
The company’s net profit dropped 66% year-on-year to ₹19 crore, compared to ₹56 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations also slipped 44% to ₹163 crore from ₹289 crore in Q2 FY2024, reflecting muted consumer sentiment and a weak off-season quarter for air coolers.
EBITDA fell 69% YoY to ₹24 crore, down from ₹77 crore in the year-ago period, while EBITDA margin contracted to 15% from 26.6% a year earlier. The sharp margin erosion indicates pressure on both pricing and operational efficiency during the quarter.
