Metropolis Healthcare shares jumped more than 3% in early trade after the diagnostics company reported a strong set of earnings for the September quarter. As of 9:20 AM, the shares were trading 2.65% higher at Rs 2,084.60.
The company’s consolidated revenue grew 22.7% year-on-year to ₹429 crore, compared to ₹350 crore in the same period last year, driven by robust growth in non-COVID business and higher patient volumes.
EBITDA rose 20.4% to ₹108 crore from ₹89.9 crore, while margins remained healthy at 25.2% versus 25.7% a year ago. Net profit increased 13.2% to ₹52.7 crore against ₹46.5 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
