Food delivery platform Swiggy posted a wider net loss in Q2, even as revenue saw strong growth driven by food delivery and quick commerce.

The company reported a net loss of ₹1,092 crore, compared to a loss of ₹626 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue surged 54.4% YoY to ₹5,561 crore from ₹3,601 crore.

EBITDA loss stood at ₹798 crore, higher than the ₹553 crore loss in Q2 last year, reflecting continued investment in growth and competitive intensity in the quick commerce segment.

Swiggy’s quick commerce vertical recorded impressive traction, with revenue doubling to ₹980 crore from ₹490 crore YoY. Meanwhile, food delivery revenue grew 22% YoY to ₹1,923 crore versus ₹1,577 crore in the year-ago period.

The company remains focused on expanding its delivery ecosystem and strengthening presence across high-growth categories, even as losses have widened during the expansion phase.
