Garuda Construction and Engineering Limited has announced the receipt of a work order worth approximately Rs 231 crore for the construction of a rehabilitation building in Chandivali, Mumbai, marking another major milestone for the company’s infrastructure portfolio.

According to the company’s filing under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, the upcoming project involves the construction of a 6.17 lakh sq. ft. rehabilitation complex, with a completion timeline of three years.

Following this latest contract win, Garuda Construction’s total order book now stands at Rs 3,460.78 crore, reflecting the company’s growing presence in large-scale urban infrastructure projects.

The project is expected to significantly enhance Garuda’s footprint in the Mumbai real estate redevelopment segment, where rehabilitation and urban renewal projects have been gaining momentum amid citywide redevelopment drives.
