Radico Khaitan, one of India’s biggest homegrown alcobev names, has unveiled the final two editions of its acclaimed Rampur Jugalbandi series—#7 and #8—at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes 2025. With these releases, the eight-part limited edition collection of Indian Single Malts reaches its grand finale, marking a proud moment for Rampur Whisky on the global stage.
The Rampur Jugalbandi series began in 2022, releasing two expressions each year, and now concludes with these last two gems. Every whisky in the series is crafted at the iconic Rampur Distillery, Asia’s oldest and largest, carrying over 80 years of heritage. Inspired by the Indian classical art of Jugalbandi, where two soloists create magic together, each edition pairs contrasting casks to achieve perfect harmony—resulting in whiskies that blend India’s distinctive character with global influences.
Rampur Jugalbandi #7 (Ex-Bourbon & Mizunara Cask) is all about balance. It combines the warm, comforting notes of American bourbon with the elegant, delicate touch of Japanese Mizunara oak, all wrapped in Indian craftsmanship. Expect a silky, layered experience with tropical fruits, vanilla, honeycomb, sandalwood, green tea, and cherry blossom, finishing with a long, oriental flourish.
Rampur Jugalbandi #8 (Ex-Bourbon & Sherry PX Cask) is bolder and indulgent—a true dessert whisky. Rich layers of dried fruits, fig jam, dark chocolate, orange peel, and warm spices create a velvety, full-bodied palate, finishing long and luxuriously.
