GHCL Limited has announced that its Soda Ash plant will undergo a planned annual maintenance shutdown from September 26, 2025, to October 12, 2025. This temporary closure is part of the company’s routine maintenance activities aimed at ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the plant.
The scheduled maintenance is expected to result in a production shortfall of approximately 22,000 to 25,000 tons of Soda Ash. Despite the temporary halt in production, GHCL reassures its customers and stakeholders that there is sufficient reserve stock available to meet all existing supply commitments.
In the excahgne filings, the company shared, “We would like to inform you that our Company’s Soda Ash plant will be temporarily closed for planned maintenance activities. This annual maintenance shutdown is scheduled to take place from September 26, 2025 to October 12, 2025. This is expected to result in a total production shortfall of approximately 22,000-25,000 tons. The purpose of the activities is to carry out essential maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient and safe operations of our Soda Ash plant.”
