M.E. Energy Pvt. Ltd., the wholly owned subsidiary of Kilburn Engineering Ltd., has bagged fresh orders worth ₹80.28 crore in the current quarter, reinforcing its presence in the clean energy and industrial heating solutions space .

The largest of these is a ₹51 crore project that marks the company’s first entry into the ferro alloys sector. The contract involves setting up a 12 MW Waste Heat Recovery (WHR)–based power plant, designed to harness high-temperature furnace flue gases via two Waste Heat Recovery Boilers and a captive power system. The project is expected to boost client profitability while contributing to sustainability efforts .

Additionally, M.E. Energy secured a repeat order worth ₹17.7 crore from Shree Cement Ltd. for biomass fuel–based Hot Air Generator (HAG) systems at its grinding units in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The systems, powered by paddy straw, are designed to deliver energy-efficient heating solutions .

Commenting on the wins, K. Vijay Kartha, Managing Director of M.E. Energy, said the ferro alloys entry is “an exciting development,” while the repeat order reflects long-term client trust. Group Director Amritanshu Khaitan added that the company is positioned to “scale up turnover multi-fold in the years to come” .

These order wins highlight M.E. Energy’s leadership in waste heat recovery, captive power, and non-conventional fuel–based industrial heating solutions across core industries.
