Coromandel International Limited on Monday, September 22, 2025, said that its Board of Directors has approved the setting up of a Technical Mono Ammonium Phosphate (TMAP) plant at Visakhapatnam. The development aligns with the company’s expansion strategy in the specialty nutrients and fertilisers segment.
Alongside the new project, the company also announced an update to its senior management team. Mr. Anirban Deb Ray, currently serving as General Counsel, has been designated as Senior Management Personnel effective September 22, 2025.
Mr. Ray holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Competition Law from the University of London, along with LLB and B.Com (Hons) degrees from the University of Calcutta. A member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), he brings over 24 years of experience in legal and corporate governance, having worked with organisations such as Birlasoft, Vodafone Idea, Gabriel India, Nicco Parks & Resorts, Guiness Securities, and Tata Communications before joining Coromandel.
The board meeting commenced at 10:25 a.m. and concluded at 12:00 noon on September 22.
