Coromandel International Limited, one of India’s leading agri-solutions providers, has inaugurated its 1000th Gromor retail store in Kashti Village, Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra. The flagship ‘Apla Gromor’ mega store will cater to over 15,000 farmers across 25 villages, offering integrated agri-solutions, advisory services, and digital farming tools.

The launch was attended by Mr. Arun Alagappan, Executive Chairman, and Mr. S. Sankarasubramanian, Managing Director & CEO of Coromandel International Limited, along with the company’s senior leadership team.

Coromandel began its rural retail journey in 2007 under the “My Gromor” brand and has since expanded to become one of the largest agri-retail chains in India. With 1000 company-owned, company-operated stores across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra, the network today serves more than three million farmers, supported by a 5,000-member team.

Speaking on the milestone, Mr. Arun Alagappan, Executive Chairman, Coromandel International, said,

The Apla Gromor store in the Kashti–Shrigonda belt will also serve as a hub for digital farming solutions, including the MyGromor app, remote advisory, and image-based pest and disease identification. Coromandel has also announced plans to open 20 more Gromor stores in Pune district, with five near Kashti, further strengthening its farmer outreach in Maharashtra.
