TVS Motor Company reported a robust 29% year-on-year (YoY) growth in total sales for July 2025, delivering 4,56,350 units compared to 3,54,140 units sold in July 2024. The growth was led by strong demand in both domestic and international markets, with significant uptick seen in two-wheeler sales and exports.
Segment-wise performance highlights:
- Two-Wheelers: TVS sold 4,38,790 two-wheelers in July, a 29% increase from 3,39,676 units last year. Domestic two-wheeler sales rose 21% to 3,08,720 units, while exports surged 52% to 1,30,070 units.
- Scooters: Sales jumped 42% YoY to 1,98,265 units, reflecting improved urban demand and product availability.
- Motorcycles: Sales rose 25% YoY, with 2,01,494 units sold in July 2025, up from 1,61,074 units in July 2024.
- Electric Vehicles (EVs): EV sales inched up 10% to 23,605 units despite ongoing challenges related to magnet availability.
- Three-Wheelers: Sales grew 21% YoY to 17,560 units.
- Exports: The company’s total exports stood at 1,42,629 units in July 2025, a 46% jump over 97,589 units in the same month last year.
TVS noted that this was its highest-ever international business two-wheeler sales, underscoring the success of its global strategy and competitive product portfolio.
