Global Health Limited, which operates hospitals under the Medanta brand, announced the commencement of operations at its newly constructed hospital in Ranchi today.
As per the company’s filing with BSE and NSE, the new facility has an initial capacity of 110 beds, which is extendable to 150 beds. This hospital is located in close proximity to Medanta’s existing 200-bed hospital in Ranchi.
The company said the additional capacity will complement its current operations in the region and help meet the growing healthcare needs of the population.
This expansion follows the company’s earlier announcement (February 4, 2025) about signing a long-term lease for this property.
“This new 110-bed facility will complement our existing 200-bed hospital in Ranchi and is expected to strengthen our service offerings while addressing the region’s growing healthcare needs,” the company said in its statement.
The move is part of Medanta’s ongoing strategy to expand its presence and improve access to quality healthcare in underserved areas.
