Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery business reported a modest year-on-year growth in overall tractor sales for June 2025. The company sold 11,498 tractors during the month, up 2.2% from 11,245 units sold in June 2024.
Domestic sales stood at 10,997 units in June 2025, nearly flat compared to 11,011 units sold in the same month last year. The company noted that timely arrival of the southwest monsoon, a rise in kharif crop sowing, and higher Minimum Support Prices (MSP) announced by the government helped improve rural sentiment.
Looking ahead, Escorts Kubota expects continued industry growth for the rest of the year, supported by above-normal monsoon forecasts, healthy water reservoir levels, and anticipated record kharif output, which may lead to improved liquidity in rural areas.
On the export front, the company registered a strong performance with 501 units sold in June 2025—more than double the 234 units exported in June 2024, marking a robust 114.1% year-on-year growth.
Q1 FY26 Tractor Sales Summary (April–June):

-
Export: 1,733 units (up 80.3% YoY)
-

While domestic sales were slightly lower for the quarter, strong export momentum helped offset the dip, resulting in a marginal overall growth for the company.
