Indian equity markets maintained their positive momentum on June 5, with the Nifty 50 index closing above the key 24,750 level. The benchmark Sensex gained 443.79 points, or 0.55%, to end the day at 81,442.04. Meanwhile, the Nifty 50 rose by 130.70 points, or 0.53%, closing at 24,750.90.
