Embassy Office Parks REIT has informed the stock exchanges that it has received an invitation to offer from Embassy Developments Limited (EDL) regarding a potential commercial real estate acquisition in Bengaluru.

The proposed project is located on ITPL Main Road, Whitefield, Kadugodi Plantation Village, Bengaluru, Karnataka, and is expected to comprise approximately 3.3 million square feet (msf) of leasable area upon completion.

In its regulatory filing, Embassy REIT stated that it will evaluate the opportunity in line with applicable legal provisions and subject to receipt of any necessary approvals and consents. The REIT also clarified that there is no assurance at this stage that it will enter into definitive agreements for this acquisition.

This potential expansion aligns with Embassy REIT’s continued strategy of pursuing high-quality commercial assets in key office markets. The project, if acquired, could further strengthen its portfolio in Bengaluru, one of India’s most vibrant commercial hubs.
