Intellect Digital Technology for Commerce, a business unit of Intellect Design Arena Ltd, has entered into a strategic partnership with Essel Mining & Industries Limited (EMIL), part of the Aditya Birla Group. The collaboration focuses on transforming EMIL’s procurement operations through the implementation of eMACH.ai CPX, an API-driven Source-to-Pay (S2P) platform.
EMIL, a key player in India’s mining sector with an annual turnover of ₹2343 crore in FY24, is undertaking a digital overhaul of its procurement processes. The company aims to manage procurement worth approximately ₹1200 crore annually through the eMACH.ai CPX platform. This system will support procurement across multiple categories, including raw materials, equipment, consumables, services, and general supplies, and will connect EMIL with a network of over 800 suppliers.
