Rishabh Pant’s IPL record and future commitments

While the focus remains on his sister’s wedding, Rishabh Pant is also making headlines in the cricketing world. The star wicketkeeper-batter was part of India’s ICC T20 World Cup-winning squad and played a crucial role in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy triumph.

During the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah, Pant became the most expensive player in IPL history, securing a staggering ₹27 crore deal with the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Following his sister’s wedding, Pant is set to join the LSG camp, where he will prepare for the upcoming season as their marquee player.
