South Korean boy group The Boyz has officially kicked off the countdown to their highly anticipated third full-length album, Unexpected, with the release of the concept photo titled Become. The album is set to drop on March 17 at 6 PM KST, marking their first major project since signing with One Hundred Entertainment in December 2024.

Shared through their official social media channels, the concept photo hints at a new artistic direction for the group, known for their dynamic performances and ever-evolving musical style. Fans, commonly referred to as The B, have been eagerly awaiting fresh content since the group’s transition to a new agency following the conclusion of their contract with IST Entertainment last year.

Formed in 2017, The Boyz debuted under Cre.ker Entertainment, which later merged with Play M Entertainment to become IST Entertainment. The group, originally a twelve-member ensemble, now consists of eleven members: Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Ju Haknyeon, Sunwoo, and Eric. Hwall departed in 2019 due to health concerns.

The upcoming album follows the success of their previous releases, which have consistently demonstrated their versatility and growth within the K-pop industry. With Unexpected, The Boyz aim to further cement their place in the global music scene. As excitement builds, fans are keen to see what new themes and concepts the group will explore in this highly anticipated comeback.
