Bhageria Industries Limited has announced a ₹140 crore fund infusion into its wholly owned subsidiary, Rahuri Cleantech Private Limited, to support the development of solar photovoltaic power generating stations under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0.
In a regulatory filing with the BSE and NSE, Bhageria Industries stated that its Board of Directors and Audit Committee approved the investment during a meeting held on February 1, 2025. The funding will be structured as follows:
- ₹40 crore through Inter Corporate Loan
- ₹100 crore through a Corporate Guarantee
The investment will help develop solar power projects with a total capacity of 32 MW(AC), further strengthening Bhageria Industries’ commitment to renewable energy and sustainable development.
This strategic move aligns with Bhageria Industries’ ongoing efforts to expand its footprint in solar power generation, a sector that has gained significant momentum under India’s renewable energy policies. The Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 aims to enhance solar energy adoption in the agricultural sector, reducing dependency on conventional power sources.
With this latest investment, Bhageria Industries is set to reinforce its position in the clean energy segment, contributing to India’s transition toward a more sustainable and self-reliant energy ecosystem.
