Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABD) reported strong financial results for Q3 FY25, with a significant increase in revenue and profitability. Total expenses increased to Rs 2,225 crore, compared to Rs 2,056 crore YoY, driven by higher material costs and excise duty expenses. The cost of materials consumed rose to Rs 497 crore, while excise duty on sales stood at Rs 1,369 crore, reflecting increased production and sales volumes. Employee benefit expenses also rose to Rs 44 crore, up from Rs 39 crore YoY.

Profit before tax surged to Rs 81 crore, a substantial increase from Rs 2 crore in Q3 FY24, highlighting improved margins and operational efficiencies. Net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 58 crore, compared to a net loss of Rs 4 crore in the same period last year.
