Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut visited the revered Maa Pitambara temple in Datia, Madhya Pradesh, less than two weeks before the release of her upcoming film Emergency. The actress shared pictures from her visit on her Instagram Stories, giving her fans a glimpse into her spiritual journey.
A Divine Experience
Kangana’s visit to the temple was a serene and peaceful experience, as evident from the pictures she shared. She was seen outside the temple premises, barefoot, and later performed puja inside the temple. The actress wrote, “Aaj Dattiya mein devi ke darshan kiye (In Datia today, for Goddess’ glimpse).” She also shared a picture with MLA Umesh Kumar and police officials, showcasing her respect for the divine and the community.
Kangana’s caption for one of the pictures read, “Yeh ek aisa divya sthan hai jahan Mahabharat ke yug mein Ahwatthama dwara ek alaukik shiv ling sthapit kiya gaya tha, jiske humne bhi darshan kiye. Om Namah Shivay (This is such a holy place where in the age of Mahabharat, Ahwatthama had set up a divine shiv ling, which we also saw).” Her words reflected her deep reverence for the temple’s history and spiritual significance.
For the visit, Kangana opted for a yellow saree and wrapped a shawl around her. She was also seen wearing a garland. She also re-shared a post by Umesh on her Instagram Stories.
