During a press conference today, Prakash Javadekar, Union Environment Minister, ridiculed farmer protests and the Opposition. He remarked that the Opposition’s orchestra was what was “deplorable and shameful” during the hateful episodes in Rajya Sabha.
“Swearing, tearing up documents, attacking the Deputy Speaker, were all acts orchestrated by the Opposition,” Prakash said.
According to him, the Parliament fulfilled its vow. The sale of agriculture produces outside of APMCs brought to fruition promises the Congress made and envisioned. “How are we wrong?”
The Congress manifesto itself envisioned the sale of agricultural produce outside APMCs. We also made that same promise. Now since we have fulfilled our end of the vow, how are we wrong. This is hypocrisy on their part: Prakash Javadekar, Union Environment Minister https://t.co/HXLtozMR1l
