After a long and traumatic night, actor Allu Arjun can finally breathe easy as he walked out of jail on Saturday morning. The actor was arrested in connection to Sandhya Theatre stampede case, where a woman lost her life.
In his first statement to the media, Allu Arjun stated, “I thank everyone for the love and support. I want to thank all my fans. There is nothing to worry about. I am fine. I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate. I would like to once again express my condolences to the family. It was an unfortunate incident. We are sorry for what happened,” as reported by news agency ANI.

The Tollywood superstar was detained by Hyderabad police on Friday in connection to the stampede-like situation, which happened during the actor’s visit to the particular theatre on December 4, to attend the screening of his latest movie Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Following his arrest, the actor was granted interim bail for four weeks by Telangana High Court.
