Skoda is set to unveil its latest sub-compact SUV, the Kylaq, on November 6 in India, positioning itself to compete against popular models like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Mahindra XUV300.

Here’s to expect in Skoda Kylaq

Ahead of its global debut, Skoda has released a teaser video showcasing the Kylaq’s striking design elements. The SUV is expected to embrace Skoda’s signature Bohemian Crystal-influenced design philosophy, a hallmark seen in the Kushaq and Slavia models.

The latest teaser unveiled the outline of the headlight, the shape of the taillight and the Kylaq badging on the back. It will include a complete LED headlight with LED daytime running lights. The taillights will also receive a full LED makeover.

The Skoda Kylaq’s 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine, which can produce a maximum power output of 114 horsepower and a maximum torque of 178 Nm, will power the vehicle. The SUGV could come equipped with either a six-speed torque converter automatic unit or a six-speed manual gearbox.
