Bajaj Auto Limited saw its market capitalization drop by ₹10,422 crore after its shares declined by 3.93%, trading at ₹9,488.05 on NSE. The stock, which opened at ₹9,896.50, reached a low of ₹9,401.00 in today’s session, reflecting a significant dip.
Bajaj Auto recently announced its sales figures for October 2024, which showed a mixed performance. The company reported total sales of 479,707 units, marking a 2% year-on-year increase. While domestic two-wheeler sales declined by 8% YoY to 303,831 units, exports surged by 24% to 175,876 units. Year-to-date, the company’s total sales for April-October 2024 increased by 10% YoY, reaching 2,803,267 units.
The stock decline comes amid investor concerns regarding the softer performance in the domestic market, even as the export numbers provided some support.
