Several stocks remain in the Futures and Options (F&O) ban period as their open interest (OI) has crossed 95% of the market-wide position limits (MWPL). These stocks will remain in the ban until their OI falls below 80%.

  • Still in ban: Aarti Industries, Biocon, Chambal Fertilisers, GNFC, Granules India, LIC Housing Finance, National Aluminium, Oracle Financial Services Software, Punjab National Bank, RBL Bank, and SAIL.
  • Out of ban: BSOFT has exited the F&O ban list.

Meanwhile, the domestic equity indices surged, hitting new highs on Friday. The Sensex rose by 1,359.51 points (1.63%) to close at 84,544.31, with the index reaching a new lifetime high of 84,694.46. This rally came after the US Federal Reserve cut its benchmark interest rate for the first time in over four years, boosting global markets.
