KARNATAKA: Search being conducted at Aditya Alva’s – son of former minister Jeevaraj Alva – house in connection with the ongoing investigation in the drug case in the state: Sandeep Patil, Central Crime Branch (CCB), Joint Commissioner.
Aditya Alva accused in the drugs case has not been traced in spite of the best efforts made since a week. The police are looking for him in the houses of his friends and relatives. The CCB police say that Aditya has switched off his mobile phone and has gone into hiding. This is creating bottlenecks for them.
Reportedly, Alva has been changing his hiding place often. CCB sources say that Aditya, who had a close connection with the accused, had taken part in about three parties. He has been named as an accused in a drugs case registered in Cottonpet police station here.
