Karan Adani, CEO of Adani Ports and SEZ, highlighted important forthcoming investments and projects at the 2024 Regional Industrial Conclave held in Gwalior, showing the company’s dedication to promoting India’s growth and development.
He said on Wednesday, “The Adani Group is deeply committed to the overall economic development of Madhya Pradesh and has already invested about Rs 18,250 crore and created 12,000 jobs across different sectors in the state.”
Speaking at the “2024 Regional Industrial Conclave” in Bhopal, Karan Adani announced to establish a two million tonnes per annum (MTPA) cement grinding unit in Guna district, as well as a state-of-the-art propellant production facility in Shivpuri district.
Karan also added that this unit in Shivpuri is strategically in line with the ‘Aatmanirbharta’ goal, which aims to change India from a defence importer to a defence exporter. A total of Rs 3,500 crore will be invested in these two projects, which would generate around 3,500 direct and indirect employment.
Among those in attendance were Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Minister of Union Communications and Minister of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Jyotiraditya Scindia.
