The 20-year-old has captured the nation’s attention, especially after finishing fifth in the qualification round with a score of 631.5, securing her spot in the final.
Ramita’s performance follows the success of fellow Indian shooter Manu Bhaker, who recently opened India’s medal tally with a bronze in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol event. Ramita, along with Bhaker, is one of the few Indian female athletes to make it to the finals of a shooting event at these Games.
