Actor Rajinikanth recently visited the sacred shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath, earning him a warm welcome and felicitation from the Uttarakhand Police. The visit, which highlighted the actor’s deep spiritual connection, has captured the attention of fans and devotees alike, with pictures of Rajinikanth in the Himalayas circulating widely on X (formerly Twitter).
The Uttarakhand Police shared a heartfelt post on their official X handle, stating, “Welcome and felicitation of renowned Indian film actor Rajinikanth ji on his arrival to Devbhoomi for Shri Badrinath darshan. After the darshan, he said that he is overwhelmed by the darshan of Shri Badrinath Dham. He prays to God for the welfare of the people and prosperity of the country.”
Upon his arrival in Dehradun, Rajinikanth expressed his enthusiasm for his annual spiritual trips. “Every year I used to get new experiences that made me continue my spiritual journey again and again. I believe even this time, I will get new experiences,” he said. The actor emphasized the importance of spirituality in his life, stating that these sacred trips contribute significantly to his personal growth. “The whole world needs spirituality, as it’s important for every human being. Being spiritual means experiencing peace and tranquillity, and fundamentally, it involves believing in God,” he told ANI.
In addition to his pilgrimage in Uttarakhand, Rajinikanth recently visited the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, where he was seen seeking blessings. The BAPS Hindu Mandir’s official social media accounts shared videos and pictures of the actor’s visit. Rajinikanth was also honored with a golden visa by UAE’s Department of Culture and Tourism, highlighting his global influence and recognition.
On the professional front, Rajinikanth has wrapped up the shoot for his upcoming film Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel. The film, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, marks Rajinikanth’s 170th film and is set for a worldwide release in October this year.
