Abdu Rozik, a Bigg Boss 16 contestant and social media sensation, shared a preview of his engagement ceremony on Friday. On April 24, the Tajikistani musician proposed to Emirati girl Amira from Sharjah in an intimate ceremony.
Now, the musician has posted a few photos from his important day, but he has not disclosed his fiancé’s face in them.
Abdu took to Instagram to share a photo in which he is seen wearing a ring. In another photograph, he is seen putting the ring on Amira’s finger.
Abdu is seen wearing a traditional outfit and his wife-to-be opted for an all-white outfit. “Allhamdulillah ❤️ 24.04.2024,” he captioned his post.
Abdu has generated quite a buzz on social media since announcing his nuptials. He plans to marry Amira in July 2024, in the presence of their close friends and family.
According to the Khaleej Times, Abdu plans to marry in the United Arab Emirates. Abdu is 20 years old, and Amira is 19. According to the article, Abdu and his future bride met in February 2024 at a mall in Dubai.
“Everyday life is not easy for me and finding love seemed an even harder challenge as there are so many obstacles. But Allhamdulillah, I’ve found Amira, and she loves me for who and what I am,” he told the news portal.
He also posted a video expressing his excitement a few days ago. Along with it, he said, “I never imagined in my life that I will be so lucky to find a love who respects me and is not burdened by the obstacles in my life 7th of July save the date !! 💍 I cannot express to you in words how happy I am.”
Abdu has a large fan base in India, and they like him for his friendly demeanour and humorous videos. Since the finale of Bigg Boss 16, he has spent the majority of his time in India. He has also recorded a few tracks in Mumbai and may be seen at various events and parties there.
He rose to fame following his appearance on Salman Khan’s controversial reality show. He was one of the most popular participants in the house, and his relationship with fellow contestants Shiv Thakare and Sajid Khan had become the buzz of the town.
