The Indian squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 has been announced by BCCI with Rohit Sharma retaining his captaincy.

The squad includes – Rohit Sharma (Captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishab Pant (Wicket Keeper), Sanju Samson (Wicket Keeper), Hardik Pandya (Vice Captain), Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohamed Siraj.

Reserves: Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Khaleel Ahmed, and Avesh Khan.

The Indian team was announced by the Senior Selection Committee on Tuesday for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, which will be hosted in West Indies and USA.

India will begin its campaign for World Cup against Ireland on June 05, 2024 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York, which will be followed by marquee clash against Pakistan on June, 09, 2024 at the same venue. The team will then proceed to play USA and Canada on June 12 and 15, respectively.

It must be noted that captain Rohit Sharma and Chairman of Selection Committee Ajit Agarkar will address press conference on May 2nd at 4 pm at BCCI Headquarters in Mumbai.
