CBA fan favorite comedy series Young Sheldon is coming to an end, as it is only few episodes to go before we pull the curtain. But as they say, one door closes another opens. Another spin-off series in The Big Bang Theory universe is set to arrive in the 2024/2025 television series. In anticipation of the series’ arrival, Emily Osment, who plays the role of Mandy McAllister has teased the evolution her character will undergo when the new series finally premieres.
In an interview with PEOPLE, Emily opened up on her excitement over the release of new series wherein she will step back into the shoes of her character of being a mother to the baby Cece alongside her onscreen husband Georgie, played by Montana Jordan.
Now, Emily has hinted towards the possibility that the new series will explore Mandy beyond the boundaries set in Young Sheldon by drawing an example of marriage. “It’s hinted in the marriage episode that [Mandy] wants to go back to school, that she maybe wants to have a career, that she doesn’t want to just be a stay-at-home mom, which is how I feel,” she explained.
Her first encounter with Georgie came after her career as a weather girl hit turbulent waters in Houston.
