Ramayana’s adaption has been done many times. Some exceptional makers have performed the daunting task of depicting the story remarkably. However, there have also been clear misconceptions while bringing the story to action. Now, the Bawaal director has decided to roll out a film, which is known to be made on a huge budget. Nitesh’s directorial Ramayana has been talked around a lot since its initial announcement.
According to reports, it has been known that South star Sai Pallavi has been cast for the role of Maa Sita. While KGF fame Yash will be portraying the role of Ravana. The divine role of Lord Ram will be essayed by Ranbir Kapoor. Other celebrities’ names are also being attached to the list, though there’s no confirmation on the maker’s side.
As per a recent update, there is speculation that popular television face Ravi Dubey has been roped in for the mythological drama. Yes, you read it right. He will plausibly essay the role of Lakshmana. The actor-producer hasn’t revealed any statement on the development at hand.
A few times back, there were reports of many celebrities being part of the period drama. Reports suggested Vijay Sethupathi for the role of Vibhishan, while Sunny Deol is Hanuman. There was also speculation about Lara Dutta, who might embody the character of Kaikeyi. Bobby Deol’s name was suggested for the role of Ravana’s brother Kumbhkaran.
Though, for the moment there was no confirmation regarding the other cast. The director has kept everything under wraps for the time being. Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana will be released in three parts. The shooting for the same will begin soon. Animal fame Ranbir Kapoor is undergoing intense training to embody the character of lord Rama.
