Everyday there are new revelations regarding Sushant Singh Rajput‘s case. CBI, who took over the case from Mumbai Police, is currently grilling the late actor’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani as well as his cook Neeraj. Now a shocking revelation has been made that Rhea Chakraborty destroyed 8 hard drives before she left Sushant’s house on 8th June.
According to India Today, Siddharth Pithani made the shocking revelation about Rhea and also added that an IT profession was called in to help destroying the hard drives. The content of the drive is still unknown. The IT professional asked both the stars about the data that needs to be deleted which means Sushant knew about the content and was present when all of this was happening. CBI will try to figure out what the content was about.
Apart from the money laundering angle, Enforcement Directorate is now working on the drug angle after submitting evidence to both CBI and NCB. The NCB will now join the investigation and do in-depth research on the drug angle. It was also reported that Rhea and Sushant consumed drugs and the actress dealt with the supplies. In her Whatsapp chat, it was revealed that the late actor’s landlord asked her to pay Rs 17,000 for 2 bags of weed.
NCB director Rakesh Asthana told Hindustan Times earlier today, “We received a letter from ED on Tuesday evening, stating that during their probe into the financial aspects, they found that drug was supplied to Rhea and Sushant. An NCB team will now conduct an inquiry and people involved will be questioned.”
