In the episode, Karan Johar asked Arjun if he gets affected when the masses troll him for his relationship with Malaika Arora, concerning the age gap.
Replying to the statement, Arjun said that its not like no one ever gets affected, but it’s about how you deal with such circumstances. Those people who put up such comments show how they are being brought up and indicate their cultural differences. Also, these people are trying to get his attention. He stated that it does affect him when some random meme pages create such memes and they are doing it for likes.
Karan even asked Arjun about his wedding plans, if there were any. He inquired if the actor was willing to take his relationship to the next stage.
Arjun replied to it by saying, “I think the most respectful thing is, once we reach that stage to come and talk about it together. I am very happy where I am. We survived through whatever we had to be in this comfortable happy space but I don’t want to speak about anything specific right now because it’s unfair to the relationship to talk alone about it,” as reported by Bombay Times.
Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have been dating for quite a few years. They had kept their relationship secret until 2019 when the actors started posting together on social media. Recently, rumours indicated that they have had a breakup. However, the couple cleared the air by going on outings together.
