Nothing is clear yet whether US President Joe Biden will visit India on the occasion of Republic Day next year or not. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself had invited Biden as the chief guest on the occasion of Republic Day next year. But now, several media reports quoting sources related to this matter say that there is very less possibility that Biden will not come to India next year.

US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti had said in September that PM Modi had invited President Biden as the chief guest on the occasion of Republic Day 2024. However, there was no comment from India on this invitation.

QUAD Summit meeting also postponed 

At the same time, the QUAD Summit meeting was to be held in India at the end of 2024. But sources say that this meeting of Quad Summit has been postponed for the time being, and new dates are being considered for it. Let us tell you that earlier this summit was likely to be held in the month of January. It is being said that no consensus could be reached among its partner countries regarding the date of Quad. For this reason, new dates for the Quad Summit are now being brainstormed.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced on the sidelines of the G-7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan in May that India would host the next Quad leaders’ summit. Let us tell you that Quad includes India, Australia, America, Japan. The objective of which is to ensure and support a free, open and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.
