Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film The Archies’ new song has been released. Va Va Voom is a fun dance number comprising the cast grooving to Javed Akhtar’s lyrics. The music video features the main cast such as Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda and Vedang Raina. They are seen dancing enthusiastically at a fair.
The song begins with Agastya playing the guitar and dancing through his way at a party. Soon he is joined by Suhana and Khushi, who were seen donning 90s-style knee-length dresses. The song takes a fuming turn as Agastya slides on the floor and halts in front of both the female leads. This scene closely resembles what SRK did in the Main Hoon Na film’s song Gori Gori.
The latest dance number has been sung by Tejas while Kiara Alemao, Chelsea Das, Zoe Siddharth, Brendan Alphonso, Shaurya Singh, Aryaman Singh, Urgen Yolmo, Simran Duggal and Kenishaa Francis, who have joined him in singing the chorus. The lyrics have been written by Javed Akhtar and composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
Zoya Akhtar even took to her Instagram account and shared the new song. She captioned the post by writing, “You are just so Va Va Voom!” #VaVaVoom Out now.”

The Archies is an upcoming musical comedy directed by Zoya Akhtar. The film is adapted from the famous American comic book series of the same name. In the Indian version of the movie, Agastya will be seen playing the role of Archie Andrews, Khushi as Betty Cooper, Suhana as Veronica Lodge, Mihir as Jughead Jones, Vedang as Reggie Mantle Aditi as Ethel Muggs, Yuvraj as Dilton Doiley.
The film will be released on Netflix on the 7th of December this year. The movie will embark on showcasing the values of friendship and bonding within the friends and their true connection.
