In a recent promo, Aishwarya is also seen standing up for her marriage when Vicky trolls them. She has always been very vocal about her love for her now husband Neil. However, before her marriage to Neil, Aishwarya was in a long-term relationship with Rahul Pandya, who has now given an interview to TellyChakkar.
Rahul revealed that they attended the same college in Ujjain, albeit pursuing different courses. Their story began during an inter-college competition when they crossed paths and started getting to know each other.
Rahul Pandya shared that their love story began in 2011 and lasted until 2017. It was a beautiful relationship marked by a surprising absence of fights. Even when Aishwarya’s father learned about their relationship, they remained unfazed. Rahul disclosed that he actively supported Aishwarya in pursuing her dream of becoming an actress. However, there were challenges along the way. In 2014-2015, Aishwarya’s father sent her to Pune in an attempt to separate her from Rahul, before she eventually came to Mumbai.
Rahul Pandya mentioned that he used to visit Aishwarya in Pune, but she eventually shifted to Mumbai. He recalled a significant moment when Aishwarya reached out to him a year before her marriage, inquiring about his life and well-being. It was during this conversation that he realized she needed space and had moved on. This revelation left him shocked and went through a difficult phase, feeling betrayed and at times even struggling with suicidal thoughts. Despite the challenges, Rahul expressed that he harbors no ill will towards Aishwarya, emphasizing the nature of his love.
