The release of the film ‘Animal’ with Sandeep Reddy Vanga is being prepared by Ranbir Kapoor. As per the promos, the actor will be depicted in a formidable demeanor in the film, scheduled to be shown in theaters on December 1. Additionally, another extensively discussed project is Ramayana, in which Ranbir is said to portray Lord Ram, with Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Raavan, although it has yet to be officially declared.
Although prior reports indicated that the commencement of Ramayana’s filming would transpire next year, Ranbir Kapoor has recently conveyed that nothing has been decisively settled. In a recent Zoom interaction, he remarked, “Ramayana is a substantial undertaking, demanding considerable preparatory effort. There has been no conclusive determination. I anticipate prompt resolution. At this time, I have encountered numerous proposals, yet none have been solidified.”
Furthermore, Kapoor has been linked to the Kishore Kumar biopic, directed by Anurag Basu, who has labored on it for many years. He intends to evaluate the script by the conclusion of this month, but has not yet discovered a suitable fit. It’s worth noting that Basu and Kapoor previously collaborated on the film ‘Jagga Jasoos,’ which garnered attention due to its protracted production timeline and eventually discovered favor among film enthusiasts, notwithstanding underperforming at the box office.
The actor also provided insights into the much-anticipated sequel to Brahmastra, noting that it is in the midst of an extensive writing phase. The project’s scale, vision, and character development, according to him, have grown substantially. Additionally, he indicated that filming would commence following the completion of War 2, tentatively scheduled for either the end of next year or the beginning of the year after next. Evidently, substantial progress is already underway on the script.
During the same discussion, Ranbir Kapoor disclosed a significant lifestyle transformation to his audience, which encompasses the abandonment of smoking. “For ‘Animal,’ I had shaved my head! I had undertaken that step for the final scene. At present, I am in the process of growing my hair. In the absence of any ongoing film commitments, I have adopted an unrestricted dietary regimen, consuming a substantial quantity. My lifestyle has undergone a comprehensive alteration. I have relinquished smoking and now indulge in an abundance of chocolates.”
